After four years of learning (without adequate support or differentiation) in a tertiary institution for my Bachelor of Education, I chose to do my ADHD Coaching certification through ADHD Works, a business designed by lived-experience AuDHD coach, author, and speaker, Leanne Maskell who wrote the book ADHD: An A-Z. It was important to me to find a course that aligned with my values. Leanne taught in a way that recognised my need for breaks, engagement, stimulation, interaction, and connection.
I resigned from teaching to create an ADHD-friendly business and life by design. I left my classroom (full of students who I adored) because I needed a career that allowed time and space to honour my energy. I have now coached and mentored more than 475 adults. I have cheered on and advocated for my large online communities on Instagram and TikTok.
